Batman and Superman are two such characters from the comics books, without whom the DCEU seems meaningless.

There are currently questions about the future of Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman in the DCEU, whether or not both will return to their respective roles.

As for Ben Affleck's Batman, he will be seen in Ezra Miller's The Flash alongside Michael Keaton's Batman.

But when it comes to Henry Cavill's Superman, his future in the DCEU is still uncertain. Because he is not currently involved in any of the DCEU projects.

Ezra Miller's The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti, is expected to wipe out SnyderVerse, leaving Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman no future in the DCEU.

And it is also believed that Sasha Calle's Supergirl will replace Henry Cavill and Leslie Grace's Batgirl will replace Ben Affleck's Batman.

But now that Henry Cavill's Superman is found alive in the DCEU under the Warner Bros Discovery merger, his chances of returning increase.

David Zaslav, President of Warner Bros Discovery, has made it clear that his first priority is to keep fans happy. His statement is increasing the chances of Henry Cavill returning as Superman.

Also, because of the fans, Zack Snyder's Justice League was made possible. In such a situation, the chances of Henry Cavill returning to the DCEU as Superman increase.

There have been speculations that the studio may use Black Superman to be produced by JJ Abrams and scripted by Ta-Nehisi with Henry Cavill.

In such a situation, the studio will bet only on Henry Cavill, not experimenting with any other actor, because there is always a risk with new experiments.

It is also worth noting that the DCEU was founded from Zack Snyder's 2013 Man of Steal, since then the impact Henry Cavill has left as a Superman is a sight to behold.

Based on these facts, we can say that the chances of Henry Cavill returning to Superman as well as SnyderVerse are still alive.

Whether or not Henry Cavill's Superman will return to the DCEU will only be clear after Ezra Miller's The Flash. The film will release on June 23, 2023.
