Marvel  Gorr the God Butcher Origin and Powers

Marvel teases villain Gorr the God Butcher in a new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder.

Christian Bale is playing the character of Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder villain Gorr the God Butcher.

Gorr the God Butcher was first introduced in the Marvel Comics book Thor: God of Thunder #1 in 2013 by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic.

According to Marvel Comics Books, Gorr was born into a civilized family on an unnamed barren planet. He and his family had great faith in the gods.

Gorr's was frequently hit by earthquakes as well as water scarcity and there was always a threat of life from wild animals.

Gorr always hoped for help from the gods, but none of the gods helped him. Due to which his family had died.

From then on Gorr had anger towards the gods. From then on he started targeting and killing only the gods. Since then his name was Gorr God Butcher.

Gorr has the extremely powerful Necrosword that can kill any god, including the Asgardians. A glimpse of Necrosword is seen in the trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder.

Natalie Portman's Jane Foster will see as Mighty Thor avatar for the first time in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film will release in theaters on July 8, 2022.
