Taron Egerton may appear as Wolverine in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Egerton Egerton has revealed that he has been in talks with Marvel's President Kevin Feige and other Marvel Studios executives for Wolverine role.

Hugh Jackman was last seen as Wolverine in 2017's Logan directed by James Mangold

After the 2017 Logan film, Hugh Jackman said goodbye to the role of Wolverine forever.

Taron Egerton said in an interview to The New York Times that, "I don't think it would be wrong to say that. I'd be excited but I'd be apprehensive as well"

"Because Hugh Jackman is so associated with the role that I'd wonder if it'd be very difficult for someone  else to do it. But hopefully if it does come around, they'll give me a shot", he adds. 

Taron Egerton is best known for 20th Century's spy-action feature Kingsman: The Secret Service and Golden Circle.

Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton have worked together in the 2016 sports drama feature, Eddie the Eagle.

Taron Egerton will next seen in miniseries, Black Bird for Apple TV+, which is schedule on premiere on July 8, 2022.
