Netflix announced the release dates of the fantasy drama series The Witcher Season 3 and prequel Blood Origin during a Tudum event.

Henry Cavill will return to his role as Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's The Witcher Season 3.

Freya Allan will return to reprise her role as Ciri in The Witcher Season 3.

Also Anya Chalotra will return to reprise her role as Yennefer in Netflix's The Witcher Season 3

Netflix's  The Witcher Season 3 story  will start from where Season 2 ended, nothing more is known yet.

Netflix hasn't announced a concrete release date for The Witcher Season 3 during the Tudum event.

But during the Tudum event it was clarified that  The Witcher Season 3 would be released on Netflix in Summer 2023.

On the other hand, the release date for the prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin has been announced during the Tudum event.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will release on Netflix on December 25, 202.

Netflix's The Witcher: Blood Origin featuring stars, Michelle Yeoh, Sophia Brown, Jacob Collins-Levy, Lenny Henry, Lizzie Annis with among others.

 Blood Origin's story is set 1200 years before the events of the original series The Witcher.

Netflix's Blood Origin will depict the creation of the first Witcher

Netflix's The Witcher: Blood Origin will also explore the ancient Elven civilization before its demise.
