Warner Bros has canned DC's Batgirl, starring Leslie Grace.

This happened after the shooting of Batgirl was completed and the film went into post-production.

Warner Bros has clarified on the cancellation of DC's Batgirl, saying that, "the move reflected its "leadership's strategic shift"

If rumours are to be believed, Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to change the strategy  to make big event films on DC Comics Book like Marvel Studios, which Batgirl doesn't quite fit in.

Apparently DC's Batgirl was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah. The film was supposed to officially release on HBO Max towards the end of the year or early 2023.

In the Heights' Leslie Grace was playing Barbara Gordon in DC's Batgirl.

J.K. Simmons was playing Gotham police commissioner Jim Gordon.

Also Brendan Fraser was going to appear in DC's Batgirl as a villain Firefly.

Michael Keaton was also supposed to appear in DC's Batgirl as a Batman.

Warner Bros and DC's Batgirl will no longer be released on HBO Max or in theaters.
