Fans still have the same mind about the 8th season of HBO ‘Game Of Thrones’, the most successful TV show ever in television history. It is clear that the eighth season is not able to embrace the fans as compared to the first 7 seasons. This is also true, where the first seven seasons were a success, the eighth season was very bleak. Since then, the fans had demanded the producers of the show to recreate the eighth season, but at the moment it is impossible to do so.

But once again it seems that the matter has caught up with the finale of Game of Thrones. This time around, actor Peter Dinklage, who plays the lead character Tyrion Lannister in the show, has expressed his thoughts about the Game of Thrones finale.

In this context, actor Peter Dinklage says in an interview to The New York Times that, ”Fans should move on after the conclusion of ‘GOT’. Yes, it was called ‘Game of Thrones’, but in the end, when people would approach me on the street, I don’t know why people were so obsessed with who would eventually take on Throne. I don’t know why this was his takeaway because the show was actually so much more than that”.

He continues, “The show changes your mind, and that’s what I love about it. My favorite moments from the finale was when Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon burned the throne.”

“I thought the audience was upset with how the show ended as the show was ending normally. They were angry with us for breaking ties with them. He didn’t know what to do on his Sunday night now. They wanted more.”, he added.

Game of Thrones’ prequel ‘House Of The Dragon’ will release on HBO in 2022, although a date hasn’t been announced.

Along with this, Peter Dinklage also talked about his relationship with his wife Erica Schmidt in an interview with The New York Times. He said that, “I was always guilty of falling for someone where I didn’t reciprocate because keeping it at a distance is more romantic than bringing it closer. He continues, you fall for people you know aren’t going back, so it’s even more painful, and people who are interested in you have no interest in you. This is how my brain works because I was a self-sabotage when I was younger.”

“When you get a little older and you realize that it has nothing to do with anything. But that’s okay because everyone in your 20s must be a mess.”, he adds.

At the same time, Peter Dinklage says that, “He felt ‘unworthy’ in the relationship, saying, “I was raised Irish Catholic, so I currently feel completely worthy of everything.”

Peter gave this interview to The New York Times while talking about his upcoming film Cyrano. Cyrano will be a musical film written by his wife Erica Schmidt.
