Warner Bros is showing interest in Ben Affleck’s Batman.
Ben Affleck fans must have rejoiced when actor Jason Momoa teased the news of Batman’s return to ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ on social media. Yes, Ben Affleck is going to play Batman in DC one more time. The actor will be seen alongside Jason Momoa in the sequel to James Wan‘s Aquaman. However, at the moment it is not known how long his role in the film will be.
Jason Momoa, posting a picture with Ben Affleck on his social media account Instagram, writes that, “REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j”.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be released in theaters next year on March 17, 2023. Original director James Wan has returned to direct the sequel. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick wrote the screenplay and co-wrote the film’s story with James Wan and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. Jason Momoa returns as Arthur Curry in the title role. Apart from Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Dolph Lundergren, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison and Nicole Kidman are also returning to reprise their respective roles.
It was previously believed that after The Flash, the future of Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman would end in the DC Universe. But. for now, it looks like Ben Affleck’s future as Batman is not over in DC. Because Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Fury Of The Gods trailer also tease Ben Affleck’s Batman during an earlier San Diego Comic-Con event. Obviously, the studio doesn’t show the faces of actors who aren’t sure they’ll continue in the DC Universe. Whether it’s Superman’s faceless cameo in 2019’s Shazam or Flash in the sequel’s trailer. Clearly, Ezra Miller’s future as the Flash at DC is almost over due to assault allegations.
Apparently Ben Affleck’s Batman will also appear in Ezra Miller‘s The Flash.
