HBO’s series Industry star, Marisa Abela joins the star cast of Warner Bros’ live-action musical romance, ‘Barbie’.
25-years-old actress, Marisa Abela is the latest entry to Warner Bros’ live-action, Barbie. She will joins Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the upcoming musical romance flick. Kate McKinnon , Issa Rae , America Ferrera , Simu Liu ( Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ), Will Ferrell , Ariana Greenblatt , Emma Mackey , Alexandra Shipp , Michael Cera ,Hari Nef, Ncuti Gatwa , Kingsley Ben-Adir and Scott Evans are also stars in the film.
Award winner director, Greta Gerwig is directing the film, who previously directed Lady Bird and Little Women. Greta Gerwig has also written the script of the film along with Noah Baumbach. Margot Robbie is playing the title character in Barbie movie. She is also producing feature with her LuckyChap Entertainment Production banner with LuckyChap’s Tom Ackerley, Mattel’s Robbie Brenner and David Heyman. Josey McNamara of LuckyChap and Ynon Kreiz of Mattel Inc. are serving as executive producers.
What role Marisa Abela will play in the film is not yet known. Also, the details of the plot of the film have been kept secret for now. However, Ryan Gosling is playing Barbie’s boyfriend Ken. It is believed that in addition to Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, two other Barbie and Ken will be seen.
