According to The Illuminerdi, A Spider-Man spinoff movie Dusk is in early stages at Sony Pictures. Sony Pictures’s efforts to expand their cinematic universe of Spider-Man character Dusk. Dusk’s first appearance was introduced by Marvel Comics world in 1998, in Slingers #0. Dusk character was created by Adam Pollina.
Sony Pictures is now slowly trying to establish its own comics universe. Apparently during the deal between Sony and Marvel Studios, Sony got only a few select characters. One of which is Spider-Man. Now that Tom Holland starrer Spider-Man and Animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse are doing so well, it is obvious that Sony Pictures will look to expand their universe further. It will begin this year with Morbius and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Now Sony Pictures is going to make a film with its Spider-Man character Dusk. This is a fair move from Sony Pictures.
But apart from Dusk’s Adoption, Sony Pictures has not yet been confirmed any news. Now the focus of Sony Pictures will be on the comics characters in his part, on which Sony Pictures will have to make a film.
It is not that Sony Pictures has no other famous comics book character other than Spider-Man. They have powerful characters like Morbius, Venom, Kraven the Hunter, Silver Sable, Black Cat.
According to the comics books, Dusk is a Codename that is given to the various characters of the books. It was worn by heroes. Dusk has two avatars, one is Spider-Man and one is Cassie St. Commons. It was first worn by Spider-Man. Then there was the woman wearing it, who received the dress. She was revived by wearing it. And she is actually neither dead nor alive, but there is something in between. Teleportation, manipulating shadows and possessing clairvoyance that making her an effective vigilante Superhero after wearing Dusk.
