Baywatch actor, Zac Efron has been transformed into the Hulk in first look from The Iron Claw from A24.
35-year-old actor Zac Efron’s hard work for ‘The Iron Claw’, a wrestling drama based on the Von Erich family, is clearly visible in leak photos from the film’s set. The actor has gotten into the shape of the Hulk to portray WCW Legend & WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Von Erich in the upcoming wrestling drama, who is barely recognizable. Filming for the film is currently underway in Louisiana.
Directed by Sean Durkin, the biographical wrestling drama will highlight the rise and fall of the Von Erich family, a lineage of wrestlers who have made a major impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day. It is believed that something has gone wrong with the Von Erich family. It is obvious that this family has lost its younger age members time after time, except Kevin Von Erich. Apparently Kevin’s older brother, Jack, died in an accident in 1959 when he was 6 years old. Then in 1987, Mike committed suicide at the age of 23. Exactly 4 years later, 21-year-old Chris also embraced death in 1991. Myth is that this family was cursed.
Harris Dickinson is playing David Von Erich and Mindhunter actor Holt McCallany is playing Kevin’s father, Fritz Von Erich in the film. While, Jeremy Allen White is playing Kerry Von Erich. A part from directing, Sean Durkin has also penned the screenplay. Tessa Ross, Derrin Schlesinger and Harrison Huffman are producing the project for A24. House Productions is developing the upcoming drama feature with Access Entertainment and BBC Films.
Zac Erfon previously seen in Apple TV+’ war-drama, The Greatest Beer Run Ever with Russell Crowe.
